Isel Lamoureux

Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner

Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement classes invite a deep body-mind integration through sensory learning. Using movement exploration  they facilitate how you can learn to organize yourself in your body in a more efficient and pleasurable way. Habits of unnecessary muscular contractions begin to let go and make room for more functional patterns, for more ease and flexibility,  providing an overall sense of well-being.
Isel Lamoureux has been a Guild Certified Feldenkrais practitioner for over 15 years. Her interest in movement evolved from her studies in theater and mime at the Université of Québec in Montreal. She was an Early Childhood Waldorf teacher for 20 years and trained as a yoga teacher and a movement educator. She completed her training in The Feldenkrais Method® in 2005 as well as training in the Anat Baniel Method for Children and the Child’Space Chava Shelhav Method.  She has a private practice in Sacramento and Auburn.  Visit her website: www.feldenkraisnow.com

Bella Dreizler

Physical Therapist

Bella Dreizler, physical therapist, has been offering health care in Sacramento since 1972.  Her vision for what actually constitutes health care moved way out of the box when she sold Dreizler Physical Therapy in 2005.   She taught yoga in local studios for many years and continues to treat patients, with a focus on healing through self-care.  She also facilitates 5Rhythms, a dance meditation.  She developed Yoga Therapy, now offered at Centered Tuesday morning, for the expanding community of empowered self-care geeks, students who want support in essential self-care home practice.  As a bonus, her patients now have a yoga class to land in to encourage post-treatment practice.  Her personal body challenge journey and years of hands on experience infuse her offerings with body wisdom, heart and soul: on the treatment table, on the dance floor, on the yoga mat.  For more information about her work, visit www.bodyjoy.net

Jane Lewis

Certified TRE® Provider

Jane was introduced to TRE® in 2014 and immediately knew she had to learn it. Having lived with fibromyalgia for most of her life, she was drawn to the simplicity of TRE®, its tension releasing capacity, and the gentle way the shaking works the body. A personal practice of TRE® has helped significantly with pain management and noticeably improved energy level. One of the best things she has noticed with this practice is that it allows some kind of physical movement even on the absolutely worst days. The feeling of relaxation and having been gently stretched after a session is such a blessing, especially on those days when moving at all is a challenge.
